Most of the people that replied to my thread didn't get spam because they are established customers. This is something that is happening to their new customers . I was a first time customer and if anybody else is the first time recent customer they will get a lot of spam too until they unsubscribe. I finally heard back from them after week and they were apologetic. Apparently their opt-out was broken.

I should've specified, if you're happy Midway customer then don't listen to me, but if you're new and considering ordering from them then maybe think twice.

If they're like everybody else, I will get automatically re-subscribed in about a year. The reason I didn't blacklist them is that I needed to hear back from them for my return. They certainly are blacklisted now. I know how to deal with spam as I know how to deal with reactive ******** on forums.

Several people seem to have a problem with me when all I did was relate my experience, and accurately so. What does my post count have to do with anything. I discovered this forum looking for a range bag, and that's why I joined as well as why I ordered from them so of course my post count is low. Go ahead and keep giving Midway your money if you like, but I vote with my wallet and I won't be ordering from them again.

I am glad Midway got back with you as that sounds like the company I have done business with for years. I am sorry about your experience with your post. Don't give up on the forum. This is a great place to share information which I believe is what you were trying to do. Sometimes people can come on a little strong.

Life’s too short to put up with a$$holes. Fortunately, there’s a app for that. Look at the offender’s profile and hit the “Ignore” button. You won’t hear from him again.

Having said that, it looks like Midway did the right thing. It isn’t clear why you still don’t want to use them.

Cool dog on your avatar Fine Figure. Glad midway fixed the opt out. I wouldn't have a problem if they emailed me everyday like some of the other vendors that I support. Ordered some 300 Win Mag dies from them last week. Arrived right on time.

Take a deep breath and count to 10, life is just too short to get so upset.

I've dealt with Midway for 19 years. They aren't the cheapest but I usually go to them every time. Why? They have the best website and everything is easy to find. Second reason, if something is wrong they will make it right.

Yea, gotta give them credit for the political donations, their customer service, etc. I get a few emails from them, but not a whole lot. I don't bother "rating" any products for them anymore as the process is a PIA anymore. And I am disappointed in the website, as the changes in the last year plus have made it less user friendly IMHO. But they are still a great company, and a good place to shop at, even if you end up purchasing elsewhere.

If a company spams me alot after signing up etc, I just unsubscribe. If they only email me occasionally and it is interesting, I don't. No big deal either way really. Some are terrible though, you sign up, don't check the "send me emails" box, and bam, every day something, those guys get unsubscribed to with a mental note to shop elsewhere. :)
