I was calmly sitting at home in my living room perusing the latest and greatest threads here on THR, when POP! 
Dang another shooting in the neighborhood. Right across the street from my house is a neighborhood Qwickway mart, in the parking lot of said establishment is a Hispanic woman(A) and man(B) and a short medium build Black man(C) who is gangsta'ing his semi all over the scene. The 2 guys start mixing it up while A is yelling at them. So I grab the cordless and call 911. (Yes I was armed but I was not going to go out in the street and start blazing away at the guys cause there where quite a few others just milling around.) Within 20 sec I was talking to the Police dispatcher and I saw (C) start walking away. So I stayed on the phone and described what was happening to the dispatcher and within 90 sec there were 6 cop cars on the scene. A and B had gotten in their own cars and drove away, got her licence plate and Vehicle ID and C walked calmly down the street as if nothing had happened. They got A and C, the Dispatcher asked if I could ID the guy C and I said sure. I got to ride in the back of the cruiser and they drove me to where the LEO's had him and I could see him and I said that's him. They took me home and took my statement and said would you testify. SURE, get another Drug shooter off the streets.
The above is just a highlight of all that happened but I am impressed with the LEO's in my town.
Does it mean I will stop carrying NO.
