I like my guns like I like my coffee

With so much added stuff that the original product isn't recognizable any more?

Why can't people just buy guns they like the ergonomics of in the first place? Buying a Glock and then modifying the grip yourself just encourages the alien engineers in Austria to keep on making guns that don't fit a human hand.

I guess we're all just just a little different and things need a bit of tweaking to suit some, especially if they like other attributes of the platform. In example, many like the 1911 platform, but put thin grips on it while others go fat. The same can be said of revolvers where it's quite common to see custom grips installed.

A friend of mine used to always accuse me of liking my women the way I like my coffee, "Strong, black, and bitter".

Nice weapon. Its always fun to have one that is just the way you like it.

I think what BlayGlock is referring to is "Custom" Coffee, like starbucks. I could be wrong though.

That is a good looking Glock.
There is nothing wrong with customizing your pistol to suit you. I don't see anyone complaining when someone juices up their 1911/BHP with upgrades/accessories.

Like you like your women.: Murky and bitter.

I'm the same way with my guns, the most recent being a Beretta 92FS.

I did all the work on it except the barrel threading.

I've looked long and hard at the picture to try and figure out what the coffee reference was all about. I think I've figured it out. Some people like their coffee like nobody else like it. I think that is what he was alluding to.

This. I have recently developed a taste for cafe mochas. I have also recently developed an allergy to cats. I do not drink black coffee or any other coffee really. Ive always had a taste for the Gen 3 Glock 19.

Some funny discussion though. And some disturbing.

The slide is chromed. The G19 in the original grip config slides around in my hand a little. Now I can get a nice grip on it and it does not move around. Now it is a valuable tool that fits me great. Now it is custom like my coffee.

The angle was not changed. The texture was. The Glock 19 fits most people hands all over the world just fine. I would bet $50 that the Glock 19 is one of the top 5 models in peoples holsters worldwide.
