Hi, thought i would tell you a little about this last weekend.
I am in a youth program for the Norwegian Home guard (you might call it cadets or something, i don`t know)
So this weekend (Saturday to be specific) i was at the local Home Guard gathering (all the officers and such were there, and their families) It was basically a day for fun.
First thing we did was shoot the AG3 (Norwegian made G3) trying to get the sharp shooter mark (I didn`t make it, but it was fun nonetheless) and we later tried to pole shooting with the AG3 too which although difficult was very fun. (pole shooting, don`t know what it`s called in English but you shoot at targets, and if you hit a little flag pops up.)
A little later i also got to try the P80 (Glock 17) which was very interesting, i didn`t find the recoil bad at all, and even shooting it one handed was a very comfortable (and entertaining) experience.
after that again i got to shoot the MP5 (only a couple of seconds with fully automatic fun, but fun it was!)
Definitively looking forward to next year (need to start shooting better if i`m going to get that mark)
