Hey guys/gals,

I did my homework BEFORE posting; that is to say I did a Google Image Search and amazingly, found nothing matching after scrolling through pages of results.

I have what appears to be a sight mount for obviously a Mossberg shotgun and I'm just wondering since there is no model/part number anywhere (DRATS!!!!) if any of you recognize it.

I'm also guessing that this is only one half of said mount...

I'm guessing the photo shows half of some type of Mossberg barrel/mag-tube clamp, and would have nothing to do with sights.
Unfortunately, my brief search of internet photos didn't turn up anything.
Perhaps a search of Mossberg schematics may turn up something more definite unless somebody who really knows answers later.

You're right! Just a few hours ago it occurred to me that it's more likely a flashlight clamp for the magazine tube and that I'm probably missing the other side. Thanks, L-2 for confirming this theory!

Nope! It is half of the clamp that held the second barrel on the bird/deer combo sets. Kept them apart in the box and allowed them to hang together on the dealer rack. We had a box of them once upon a time.

Dude, you the man! Now all I need for you to tell me is that they are currently going for $200 on Gunbroker!:rofl::rofl:;)

Here are some similar Mossberg barrel clamps for ~$20.

Thanks again to everyone who helped me positively identify this clamp; now if I can only find the other side to it, I'll be a rich man!
