No, I'm not junior although I sure wish I'd known about this stuff when I was younger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the help everyone. All of your suggestions, info and advice is exactly what I was looking for. I'll have to take it slower than I'd like to because I'm not decked out financially, but I plan on pursuing it. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again!!!

I'm trying to get my daughter started in the sport. She's just learning how to shoot now at a local range. She's very competitive and we enjoy doing thing together. I've contact Julie Goloski and she's VERY helpful. A very nice young lady.

I think you have a few advantages. You are young and you are female. Being female sets you apart form a large pack.

I disagree with other s who say stay with limited 10. I think now, as a beginner, is the time to try different things. Find the one you do best in and like and make that you focus and way to move up.

There's the old bit about How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, Practice, Practice. That's is more important than anything else.

http://www.brianenos.com/ is a great resource for books, videos, links, and forums to discuss competitive shooting.

Looks like you have some heavy hitters shooting in womens area 6 so you're in good shape to make contacts.

Good luck and let us know how it's going.
