Today, I fired my first "real" revolver (read: something other than .22lr)

A NICE S&W (not sure of the model) 2"bbl, .357 mag. I fired 50 rounds of LRN WWB ammo out of it, 150 grain. Nice target hammer, target cylinder release, great grips, nice nickel plating. Single action was AMAZING, at less than 2 lbs. The lowest I'd ever fired before was 4.5 lb pull. Double action was amazing as well, very smooth.

My neighbor is the owner of the gun, and he had quite a bit of work done to smooth everything out and get the wonderful target hammer and triggerwork.

Guys, I thought I was an autoloader fan. I was wrong.:D

I have, and carry, a S&W 640-1. It is a 2 1/8 inch barreled, 5 shot, 357 Magnum, all stainless, double action only revolver. You probably shot a model 19, it has a fairly wide hammer, was available in nickel plate, and with a 2 1/2 inch barrel. The model 19 was a six shot revolver and, at least the older ones, were noted for having excellent trigger pulls and the pulls could be improved by proper gunsmithing.

Sounds like your addicted
Addiction is a terrible thing
unless you like it:D
