I'll see this statement from time to time, is it ok to drive with a gun, the answer is YES, but you have to keep it lock and unlaoded, or in the trunk. When the BGs always have it lock and loaded on their sides.When us goodguys can't carry around firearms legally, because we have to follow the rules-law, or be put in prison.Do we not have the right to breathe and live.Here's the scenario, bg comes to rob-kill you, your reaction is to tell him to hold a minute, while I go dig through my trunk, and lock and load my gun. Where are you?

A number of states permit carrying a loaded gun in the vehicle. In NC, it must not be concealed (ie:glove box). In SC, it must be in a closed compartment (ie: glove box), but in both states, it is legal to have it loaded (even w/o a CWP).
