Interesting.

Thanks for your reply.

At first, one of the photos did not show up.

Now they all seem to have shown up.

Nope, not Schofields.

New Model Number Three.

Let's see if this photo works.

This is a Schofield. Notice the different grip shape and the frame mounted barrel latch.

Smith and Wesson made five distinct models on the large #3 Top Break frame.

The American Model

The Russian Model

The Schofield Model

The New Model Number Three

and the 44 Double Action

If this photo works I will try posting some of each of those models.

Do you like S&W Top Breaks?

I just got into 38S&W cartridge and a Colt Police Positive. Very cheap priced gun $225,

well my shop also has 2 S&W Top Break for $200 & $175. If the condition is good, is it worth it?

Everything looks good here.

One thing that might be worth noticing: to speed things up a bit I turned on "lazy loading," which means when there are lots of images on a page the images that are further down on the page aren't loaded until you scroll down. Instead a placeholder image that's the same size is put there so the page is spaced correctly, and once you scroll down the image will appear.

This means pages load faster. It also means if you've got a really slow connection you'll see the increased speed, but as you scroll down you might not see the image immediately.

So if you're trying to diagnose a problem, we've added another variable to be aware of.

the old image loader worked fine, but the new format is very easy to use

Depending on condition, the caliber, and the specific model, those seem to be very fair prices.

Yes,

I have lots of them. Big #3s, as well as 38S&W and 32S&W pocket pistols.

No idea if the ones you are asking about are worth it without examining them myself.
