Impulse Buy

[CTS1911]

I went to the local shop and they had a hi-point carbine in 9mm there.
I pondered about it for a little while, and decided to buy it since I'd heard some good stuff about them.
Took it out today and put 50 rounds through it. I am very impressed by it. I got really good groups with it right out of the box at about 40 or so yards with american eagle 115 grain. Not a single malfunction of any kind. Flawless.
If these results continue, I might become a real fan of these cheap yet quality guns.

Dunno that I'd call them quality, though they certainly deliver some great performance though.

The best part is, if they do quit working for some reason, probably from extreme user abuse, Hi-Point'll replace it no questions asked. Good call on it!

I shot one of those.

Worked just fine, and plenty accurate for what you would expect a pistol round to do.

The newer ones aren't as ugly as the older ones.

I've got a cousin with a .40 carbine and a buddy with a 9mm pistol- both perform flawlessly with cheap ammo. Good enough is good enough for me.

I have one in 9mm.....it's a fun toy. Buy some blue Locktite to throw in your range bag for the stuff that comes loose.
