In this week's installment of Gunsmiths on Meth, behold the tactical Schofield

I'd buy it just because it's weird and unique, but not for that price.
I agree that it’s definitely weird and unique. If I had a banged up Uberti and a rail like that was available I might be tempted. I sure as heck wouldn’t pay $2500 for that. I can’t tell if they purposely aged that one or if’s naturally aged through use, but I personally couldn’t take this and make it that.

Is the Tactical Schofield dumb because of the work done on it or because the work was done on a Schofield ?
It reminds my of the Korth and doesn't S&W make a revolver with a built in rail. People like them.
It's dumb because the execution makes no sense. You've added an entire rifle free float tube that serves no purpose. Doing it right (which would still be wrong) would require actual gunsmithing. Their whole intent was to be silly and putting that tube on it was just the easy way out.

The frame is color case-hardened. The cylinder and barrel appear to be the very thin and fragile bright blue finish. Nice, nice revolver.

Here's the one I really want though.

That is a very nice revolver.

Needs moon clip holders too.

I wonder if it was meth or shrooms that inspired this?
Well, having worked in lock down re-hab, my "expert" opinion would be some high grade LSD, forget the shrooms, some meth of course to really get the imagination pumping, and some cheap whiskey or Vodka chased down with beer to erase any doubts.

In Washington state, that is, by definition, an assault rifle, banned from importation, sale, or transfer.
Interesting . What “scary” features do the Washington legislature deem make this an “assault rifle”? An abomination, I understand. But the thinking of leftist law-makers escapes me…
