Interesting AR accessory.

That's the idea. :) A loud bang and instant confetti. But it does introduce the possibility of a primer only cartridge and ping-pong balls.

Ever fire blanks in a AR?

Clean up is a nightmare in itself.
Maybe it was the Govt M16's,the quality of blanks and the frequentcy we trained with, but the clean-up was a bear.

You got that right. Even worse when using an M249. I cant tell you how many times we took blanks out of our mags, or de-linked SAW belts, and threw them as far away from us as we could.

When the platoon sergeant or Lt. werent looking, of course. :D

Seems like one blank caused as much fouling as three or four mags of ball ammo.

I wonder what the effect on balistic gelatin would be, and if you can get soft point or hollow point golf balls! :D

From the History of the Golf Ball.
The weight of the ball shall not be greater than 1.620 ounces avoirdupois (45.93 gm).
I wonder, if that would travel 500yds before it hits the ground, what is the muzzle speed and energy? That could be a fun LTL HD gun, or be one hell of a tennis ball launcher when that size is developed. FULL AUTO BABY!!!

(1.620 ounces avoirdupois) times (1.62 oz. / 16 oz. to the pound) times 7000 = about a 709-grain projectile.

I wonder what recoil is like with that thing. :p

I think the thing that would be even more fun would be to get one of those bouncey balls made of all rubber, take it to a raquetball court then fire the thing at some oblique angle to a wall so it bounces all over the place trying to act like an over excited molecule.
