Pistol Match IS OPEN TO EVERYONE

BE SAFE IS ALL I ASK!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone I am scheduling a pistol match for the 13 of Sepetember
or otherwise 9/13/08. You will have a week after this to fire the course. On saturday the 20th the results of your match must be posted on the form in order for you to recieve the regonition for your effort. All you have to do is get your most favorite pistol wheather it is a 22 a 32 and above or a 45 ACP. There is no prize if you rank in the first 3 you get a certifacate saying your handle and your score and caliber of weapon used.

When you post your results
1. Tell your HONEST score with the X count. Example 300-30X
2. Caliber of weapon used
3. And you Handel on the form

This months match will be the National Match Course
NAT MATCH COURSE
1. Rapid fire 10 round 10 secs in two 5 sec strings 25 YARDS
2. Timmed fire 10 round in 20 scecs two 10 sec strings 25 YARDS
3. Slow fire 10 rounds in 10 minutes 50 YARDS

What is needed
1 30 rounds of ammo
2 25 yard timed and rapid fire target
3 50 yard target

1. Rapid fire 10 round 10 secs in two 5 sec strings 25 YARDS
2. Timmed fire 10 round in 20 scecs two 10 sec strings 25 YARDS

Shouldn't this read:

1. Rapid Fire, two 5 shot strings, ten (10) seconds per string, 25 yards
2. Timed Fire, two 5 shot strings, twenty (20) seconds per string, 25 yards

If we don't have access to a 50 yard range, can we shoot the slow fire at 25 yards on the NRA 25 yard slow fire (reduced) target?

And not to be picky, but you have the sequence of fire for the NMC reversed; slow fire comes first, then timed, then rapid.

As much as I like the idea.. and I really hate to be the naysayer here.. but having witnessed prior attempts at similar ideas, the fact is I just don't see all people being honest. There have been other online "competition" threads. The "post your targets" series of last year comes to mind. Some people were clearly honest, and there were some fine shooters in the group , but the ones that showed 3 inch pistol groups at 50 yards shot with a keltec p32 ( just making that up) .. those were not so believable ..

Feet, FEET, it was a typo okay! <grin>.
(nobody who saw my snub-nose shooting will ever doubt my honesty in posting the real targets as they happened  snubby+Ze=swiss cheese target <sigh>)
