Is a Walther PPKs worth it?

Oh it wasn't taken as a challenge at all. Just facts. I think I have ADD anyway, I couldn't concentrate enough to really build a serious collection. Something shiny would catch my eye and I'd be off on a bunny trail.

Thank you for the kind words. I took, nor meant, any offense.

As I'd hoped my friend :D.

The written word alone...while direct and efficient, doesn't convey intentions well ;).

My accumulation BTW is all over the place...I think the 50 cent word is "eclectic" ;), though it's based upon that which I carried/used on...and off-duty for a...uhmmm, long time ;):D:cool:.

BTW, that traditional acorns and oak leaf relief engraved PP is something :D.....

From the workers at the factory in 1945 to my dads hands as a Master Sergeant in the US 1st Army, to me. :)

Yeah. All I had to do to own it was be born an only child. :)
It's .32.

The original Bond gun... Beretta 418. Sweet little shooter...

I've had a couple PPK series guns since the 70's, both great guns, one in .22lr and one in .380. The .22lr is a pleasure to shoot, accurate, reliable and fun. The .380 has a lot of, I dunno, maybe "bite" is the right word......to it, and I don't enjoy shooting it that much, but still like having it. Neither are guns I would carry on a regular basis for defensive purposes, if I had other options. (And I do.)

As an aside, for a short period of time in the early 1980's I did decide to carry a small, flat, easily concealable .380. But my choice was a 70's vintage Astra Constable. Slightly bigger than the PPK, but I think it felt a lot better to shoot.
