Hello all.
Looking for opinions on trading one of the AR 's that I have for a Springfield Range Officer Compact(lnib).
Question I have is two-fold, 1-are there any known issues with the RO compact? 2- how hot is this little gun right now? This is the ONLY solid offer I have recieved for my AR, I am not in the market for a compact 1911 at the moment, but I think this will give me a better chance of trading into something I want(Full size 1911, or a Pre lock Smith).

Thanks all..!

what kind of AR? Is it a decent matched component factory AR, or a home built out of inexpensive parts?

A factory AR is going to be easier to sell/trade than a compact RO.
A compact RO is going to be easier to sell/trade than an AR built by some random person.

The RO Compacts have only been out for a few months but I haven't heard anything bad about them but I don't think folks are beating the doors down to get at them. Of course, 5 days before Christmas isn't a great time to be trying to sell guns othe than thse that are suitable for kid gifts.

It looks like the RO Compacts are going for around $800 on gunbroker, what are you valuing your AR at? When you say factory built upper and factory built lower, are we to assume they didn't come from the same factory as a matched set? If that's the case it could be a turn off to potential buyers.
