My father has a friend who is looking to sell his Wilkinson Arms 9mm Linda for $200. He said he paid $500 for it 15 years ago. I know nothing about this gun and was wondering if you guys can help me out deciding whether this is a good deal or not. Also enlighten me on any info you has about this gun as well.
Thank you

That is an outstanding price for a Linda. I'm assuming this is the Linda Carbine, with the flash suppressor. If you don't want it, I do.

I did a Google Images search, odd-looking things. Pistols look rather ungainly. Certainly never seen or heard of them before, good guns though?

I passed on one in 1973 that was $175.00 at the time. The equivalent was considerably more than the $200.00 being asked for this one. I was only making $700.00 a month as a Deputy Sheriff, so it was out of the question, but I've always wanted one. I've never seen the pistols, but have seen two of the carbines. They were made by a machinist, and were well made. Linda was one of his daughters. I don't remember the other girl's name, but there was a gun made for her, too.

If you want it, buy it.

Hope this helps.

There were three Wilkinson Arms pistols and a carbine:
.22 auto (Sherry)
.25 auto (Diane)
9mm (Linda)
9mm carbine (Terry)

I think the Linda carbines were made by someone else with Wilkinson parts.

Regards,
Greg

Thanks, I figured someone would remember them. The two carbines I held were both well made and displayed the touches of a machinist.
