Yes it is true as to whether or not it goes any where who can say?

Looks like it was proposed but no action yet, maybe next week.

I'm guessing the amendment will die a quiet death. The senators who proposed it are just trying to look good to their liberal constituents with no real hope of passage. Not sure if any or all of them are up for reelection this year.

I've already fired off emails to both senators and my congresscritter. Don't know if it'll help but hope springs eternal.
