Went yesterday and today,some results made me happy,some not so.First off I recently got this nice looking Argentine 1891 contract Mauser.Test fired it yesterday with Prvi Partizan ammo 180gr SP and 174 gr FMJ.I'm happy it fired flawlessly,and with both ammo the impact is in the black,only slightly high,both types didn't make much of a difference elevation wise.

I also shot the M1A standard.I don't know what's happening with my eyes lately.Lately I am having difficulty with focus with peep sights,front sight focus is becoming harder with peep sights,while Mauser style sights are easier for me to focus,it was a bright day yesterday and today and my eyes started straining after a while but I did these 2 ten shot groups with the M1A.Not the best I've done with it,however I never measured a 10 shot volley with it till now,usually I measure a 5 shot group.I jerked a couple shots,easy to see which ones lol.
Today I took out the Argentine 1909 Mauser and tried the 174FMJ which last time I only tried the 180gr SP in it.It shot better with the 174gr,here is the one 5 shot volley I tried today.
And most of today I used two of my Garands and had not so good results.My HRA has never been my more accurate Garand,today it was specially all over the place.And my 4.2 Springfield which is usually my most accurate Garand,it seemed to shoot low from the last time,so adjusting elevation 3 clicks in went into the black,usually I can get groups around 2 inches with it but today my best was a 3 inch and a 5 inch group....my best arghhh.Again those aperature sights started messing with my eyes.
I was going to try the M1917 and a Mosin also today but there was a accident,a kid had a reload blow up in his dads lever action and his hand was all messed up so the range ceased fire for about a hour until he was taken care of and all reports were made,hope he is ok.
