I'm trying to find some info for a friend regarding his Model 37.
He has a Featherweight, Ser# 8183xx. Can someone here tell me where i can find a ser# list for the Ithaca guns? I have'nt had a chance to look at it yet, but where would be a good place to find disassembly instuctions? Thanks in advance for any help!! It will be much appreciated! :D

Also try Ithaca Guns USA, LLC. From the main page, click on "Service and Parts." You can get a free copy (PDF) of their manual there.
The last sentence in the disassembly instructions on that NRA page: "Reassembly is in the reverse order." Ooookay; that oughta be easy. :scrutiny:
Seriously, though, I think if I tried it, I'd want to go through the procedure at least once with someone who had some experience with it. Otherwise I might end up with "parts left over." :cuss:
Thanks for those links. (I have a 37DS from the early Seventies.)

Thanks for the help! the Steve's pages link has a very detailed manual!! 1962 makes his gun 1 year older than me. ;)

Model 37 manufacture date

I am trying to find out when my Ithaca 37 featherlight was manufactured I thought it was purchased in 1969, but a friend tells me he thinks it is older. The serial number is 371166XX. I would also like to find out the present value. Thuis gun has been in its storage case for the pst 20 years, and prior to that it probably has shot about 150 rounds. Ther are only two minor scratches on the stock other than that it looks new.

Thanks in advance!!!!
