I saw this add for an adjustable stock rest. Pretty much eliminating the need for a bag. It was in one of the gun magazines which is a dangerous place. Because I like these magazines and they pretty much drive my Wife nuts as I have a bad habit of leaving them everywhere. If you have an idea of where I can find these, please let me know. Thx all.

... are we talking front of the rifle support? Or rear?
That clarification would help.

I am confused. My rifles' butts have heels and toes.
When I heard “stock rest” I was thinking buttstock ... These attach to a standard sling stud, eliminating the need for a rear bag.

(Don't worry about the "evil" features as receiver is RAW)

Are you thinking of Accu-Shot’s monopod?
No, I don't think so...? It looks like it's a part of a skeletonized stock. About 2" wide and 5" long. Attached by two adjustable something-er-others onto the bottom of the stock. Thx

When I heard “stock rest” I was thinking buttstock and in reading other responses I realize this is far more open to interpretation than my tiny brain allotted for. These attach to a standard sling stud, eliminating the need for a rear bag.

Sorta. But instead of a single point of contact they have some 5"-6" [?] of a pad. Same width as the pictured though. Thx

Me too, are we talking front of the rifle support? Or rear?
The rear. Like the pictured monopod attachments but If I recall, two points of contact on a pad some 2x5". Thus giving it a greater degree of stability.

Hey thx guys. Someone asked me if it was a heal or a toe. Sorry about that, you were on the correct path. My addled brain thought heal. No, It is a toe. The article was in the March 2014 issue of Guns and Ammo. By Tom Beckstrand titled Mind the Toe $290. Now to find one!
