Ok, I've read about every thread on AR's from THR and TFL. I am looking to get my first AR15 and have been doing brand research. I am beginning to understand the differences between Daniel Defense, Rock River, Colt, DPMS, and the many others. My question here is I believe just a formality before I purchase.
Smartgunner has a basic Daniel Defense for $950, figure $1000 for arguments sake.
I have found DPMS Oracles for $700, Rock River A4 for about $850. The list goes on and on, but I believe I would be well served to buy the $1000 Daniel Defense.
Use will be mostly fun shooting, maybe some coyotes, but nothing real serious.
