Howdy, went out and found a S&W mod 60-15 3in with adjustable sights for ccw. Being a J-frame I thought finding holsters would be easy, but nooooo!! Right off the bat every holster that I could try the sights would catch on.I quess most j-frames have fixed sights. This is a sweet gun so help find a good holster for it. thanks BossHogg

I looked at this when you first posted it but drew a blank.
It just occurred to me that Robert Mika might be able to help you.
He made me a holster for a Smith M15 two-inch with adjustable sights.

Other custom makers could probably help you out also.

Thank you for your kind answer ,I will keep Mika in mind. I ordered a Bianchi #3 s holster for 3 inch j-frame great holster but the barrel is 1/2 inch longer than the holster. Everything else fits fine. Did I just get the wrong holster or will the barrel be long for most brands? I see some holster makers say 2 or 3 inch do they sell the 2inch & say the 3 will work in it or should a 3 inch holster cover the barrel length.

Bianchi told me to use their regular three-inch holster for my M-60-4. It will fit with pressure, but the full-lug bbl. does stretch the holster. I ordered a Threepersons rig from El Paso Saddlery. But it isn't really a concealment holster.

One of the nylon holsters made for that size of gun in general may work, but the synthetic material may abrade the gun's finish, and the holsters usually look cheap.

Contact El Paso and see what they suggest. Maybe their Tortilla (pancake style) Model 88, I think it is. Because these are made one at a time, they may be able to add a little slack to accomodate the sights.

Be prepared to pay and wait. But the price and the time will merit both the cost and the delay.
