THR members were a big help with my earlier search for holsters for a SIG P239 so I am seeking help for another gun.

I have a Taurus M941 2" barrel with adjustable sight. The 941 is same size as S&W J-Frame revolvers. The problem is it has a tall front sight that prevents it from fitting most holsters. Most of the holsters are made for fixed sights which have a much lower front sight blade.

I have research a lot of holster makers websites but most of them don't state if they offer a model to fit this gun. Hunter is the only one that does list holsters that will fit it.

The main use of the gun is field/farm use so I don't want to spend more than $100.00. The Hunter Ruffstuff looks like it will offer good protection but for this gun I like the idea of a pancake style so it will ride high enough to avoid getting banged around on the tractor, etc. but will consider all other styles.

I would appreciate any suggestions from those of you who carry or have carried adjustable sight J-Frame revolvers,

I have a Stoner Holsters IWB & Pancake for a 3" J frame with adjustable sights, probably would work for you, just a little extra room at the end of the barrel. Check out their website, should be less than $100.

I installed adjustable sights on my Beretta Px4 subcompact and was concerned about it fitting my upcoming High Noon "Hidden Ally" holster. I sent 'em an email and they told me I'd be OK once I sent them a picture.

I'd suspect they could tell you right off if any of their holsters will be a problem with your gun.

Don't know if this helps you or not.

What about simply rugged. http://shop.simplyrugged.com/ecommerce/Sourdough-Pancake™-.cfm?item_id=151&parent=669
I have it for my Taurus 455. The plain versions are $66, but I opted for a fancy one. He makes really nice holster. I am not sure if it has the same front sight but here is a pic of it. It fits perfect. It can be wore either strong side or cross draw.
