Long time lurker, first time poster...
I'm a big believer in hammerless J Frames for CCW and BUGs - they simply can do certain things I believe are very important that an auto cannot.
I carry a 442 no-lock and for the first time was able to compare it to the competition - in this case, the Ruger LCR. I was surprised to discover the LCR fit my hand better because its grip places the trigger further from my palm, which my index finger found much more comfortable.
To your knowledge, is there a manufacturer which produces J Frame grips with extended backstraps for this reason?
The extra length such a backstrap would create isn't a concealment issue for me, as I carry OWB, not in the pocket.
Thanks for any insight.
Steve
