J frame holster

I've never warmed up to pocket carry, probably because I spend a lot of time driving. However, if there's any interest in an OWB rig for a J-frame, IMHO it's pretty hard to beat a Don Hume J.I.T. model. About $30 bucks or so, I've got several of them. This one has seen a little use.

I have one of those^^^^ and can attest.

Most of the time if I am pocket-carrying my J-frame it’s in a cheap uncle mike’s holster.

Here's a cpl that I made up for my three of my Smiths: M-60, M-36 & M-63, all with 3" bbl's. They're OWB models with a cant for 3:30-4/00 carry. Best Regards, Rod

Uncle Mikes pocket holster, size 3. Used one for better part of 20 years now. Starting to show its wear though. Specifically, a 340PD. Works fantastic.

It's my go too for OWB holsters now. I use to spend $120+ on custom holsters and wait months (years in one case). I no longer see the point as that Don Hume holster works just the same for me.

FYI: I'm sure that the OP has already found a pocket holster as this thread was brought back from the dead. As far as pocket holster for revolvers go, I don't use one. I simply drop mine in my pocket no holster.

I like the Simply Rugged Pancake and you can get belt loops for inside waistband.
