John Travolta's pistol in 'Broken Arrow'

saw the re-run of 'Broken Arrow' last night on TBS or whatever cable channel it was on, and was curious if anyone knew what kind of pistol John Travolta had during most of the movie (especially the end)

It was full auto...was it some Hollywood made up thing, or is such a gun really made?

If it's John Woo's film -- it's a Beretta.

It was a beretta 93R select fire version of the beretta 92fs,It fires 3 round burst or is semiauto.

The one used in the movie was a modified prop gun. In the movie the gun fires full-auto, but a real 93R is only capable of three round burst fire.

Man, I'd like to have one of those. I think the black Elvis in "3000 miles to Graceland" used one in the casino shootout. Its a good slow motion shot.

I don't know how reliable my source was, but I heard that there were only 9 real Beretta 93Rs in the U.S.
