I'm debating popping for a Jumbo Shrimp, to be shared across my 25cal and 22cal (centerfire) range / field rifles. I'm not expecting hearing safe so much as I would like to make them a bit quieter without making them too unwieldy.

Any good/bad to share before I spend the coin?

At that price point, I'd be much more inclined toward TBAC with the ultra 5 or ultra 7.

Hands down best value on the market right now in compact rifle cans is the YHM Resonator K.

never heard of it. got a link?

Sadly, neither seem to be available from the SilencerShop at the moment, and I'm kinda partial to buying from them at the moment since this would be my first can and they have a noob-proof point-of-sale system / set up.

Silencer shop website shows a Class 3 Finder. Not sure if that helps you at this point or not. Plenty of Dealers listed in my state (TX).

Roger - thanks. The issue isn't finding a dealer - it's finding stock to buy. :)

Because Brittingham thinks his naming scheme is clever and amusing. He also thinks he's God's gift to the silencer industry.

The bang is half the fun for me but I can see a point for hunting purposes and for areas where high noise can bother others.

All I know is I’m hungry for a Po Boy now...

Please don't pull the trigger on one of those. It's an overweight tube full of flat washers. I get so many inquires on recoring those to drop weight and make them actually work.

If on a budget, look at the Rex Silentlium offerings if you can't find a Resonator R2 (or Turbo T2 if dedicated 5.56 suppression is what you're after). These are real cans with real performance and a warranty.

The "PoBoy" is the worst silencer I've ever transferred. I warned the customer but he had already bought it.
He paid $200+shipping, then $50 for my transfer fee. He wanted it run through Silencer Shop because they had his prints in their system...$25 for that.....so he's right at $300.
I could have had him a YHM Turbo K or T2 for another $50-$75 dollars and he would have had a much better, much lighter, much shorter silencer with a lifetime warranty.

I handled a Jumbo Shrimp the other day, it seemed nice enough and was very light, wasn't as small as I expected. Will this be your first rifle suppressor? If so, I'd consider going with a .30 cal can first, more versatility and the decent ones sound fine on sub-calibers. The Ultra 5 and 7 previously mentioned are good options, personally I think my next can will be a Dead Air Nomad Ti, 6.5" long and 9.6 oz with a direct thread mount. I have a Nomad 30, it sounds good and I like the ability to swap mounts, but given the 30% lower weight, the Ti should be about perfect.
