Ruger has issued a Safety Bulletin on their Ruger Precision Rifle.

Pretty minor issue in my book.
Yes except for the part about it possibly firing when the bolt handle is lifted. Obviously none of use would do it, but someone could get a click with no bang, mistakingly assume the mag didn't lock back after the last shot, and the put the rifle up thinking the chamber must be empty, with potential disaster lurking later when the gun is to be cleaned or used again.
I don't have any tolerance for a mechanical problem that can make a gun fire when the trigger is not actually being pulled, despite how much "operator error" might be required to make it be dangerous.
I have an RPR subject to the bulletin. Mine isn't going back, I'm just going to open up the problem area myself. Faster than driving into town to ship it, let alone waiting around to get it back.
