After seeing derick45s Taylor SAA, and looking at the pictures day after day I was convinced that I needed one too.

To make a long story short, after yet another medical debacle I decided that today was the day.

Stopped at my LGS and that Taylor Smoke Wagon was still there!

Not there anymore ;)

Beauty! That’s a nice revolver. Congratulations!

I really like those grips. I had a similar set on my old Vaqueros. Now my son-in-law has that pair of guns.

Awesome piece, but there's only one...
Your not completely over the edge till ya get multiples..
My pair are Uberti 2015 cattleman and a Uberti 2016 Sass Pro, both 5.5 45 colt... I ran and jumped over the edge :)

Baby steps my friend.
This is the first new gun I've bought myself in at least a decade.

Heck, I don't even have brass for this yet.

Gonna try and find some brass and pick up a bullet mold this weekend.

I haven't shot a factory round of handgun ammo in 33 years and I'm not about to start now.

WOW!! That is truly beautiful!

Let us know how she shoots once you get some rounds loaded up.

Wow! That is a very nice .45 Colt you have there! I cant wait to hear how it shoots for you when you get it out to the range.

There are things I like about Ruger’s idea of a SA revolver, but man o man did Colt (and the quality clones like yours) get it right!! ;)

Stay safe.

I assume this is what you're talking about.

I'm gonna do it my way with conventional brass but I wouldn't have a problem adding these to the lineup down the road.

Honestly, this is the first gun I've owned (I've had/have some nice ones; old S&W's, Colts, couple of lugers, Krag etc) that I like looking at just as much as shooting.

That's one fine lookin' shootin' iron you've got there! Congrats on finding such a nicely finished SAA!

She is a purdy one! Bought my Italian Colt clone a couple years ago. Still need to file half the front sight off... She shoots way low. But otherwise, yeah, the fit and finish seem really nice. You will enjoy it!

Also in the Cartridge prescribed by God, 45 Colt.
