I'm still in this camp too! I still have a couple of niches to fill before I can afford to get multiples of any!

The history and variety around the FN P-35/Browning Hi-Power make me want more of them even though I have "enough" now (still looking for a Finnish contract P-35 to add and a Renaissance).

45 cowboy colts

its was my 1st gun at 14 years old and i still have it.
and i still play with it often. though if im practicing my CASS i'll use my tuned irons.

second up is a tie cause they always go to the range together--
kimber custom stainless gold match and a sig trailside with a L&G red-dot
the mags get loaded the night before; 136 rounds of 45 and 100 of 22
(cause the sig will use the S&W m41 mags)

I voted big bore revolvers, since I love them and have 10 of them. makes up 1/3 of my collection. None of them are the same though(some share a caliber).

for me its handguns in general.

i have one decent centerfire rifle, one decent shotgun, then i started getting handguns.... started with a full size, then i needed a subcompact, then i needed a carry revolver, then i needed a pocket gun, then i needed a big bore magnum, then i realized i didnt have a 9mm yet :what: so i had to buy one of those, and so on and so forth. i still have several more on my list to buy along with exactly two rifles and no more shotguns.

I have different guns for different purposes. I generally try to avoid redundancy. But recently i had a couple thoughts toward the exception.

The first was when i saw an add for the new version of the PTR 91 GI with wood furniture. I love my F-model (most the time) but i think one of those would be a nice addition.

The second was a conversation with a buddy about the recent crop of inexpensive GI-style 1911's. I mentioned i wouldn't mind getting a hold of a plain-jane Rock Island to have just as a "beater .45"....then i realized aloud that i was actually talking about getting another gun of the same design as one i already have, although my Kimber is much fancier.

I voted for .22rf, CZ rimfire rifles. If you like shooting rimfire rifles don't buy a CZ. It only takes one then your hooked.:banghead:

Walthers. I only have one at the moment, but I plan on buying 1-2 more PPQs, and a P99AS, after I get a couple other things. I know I want an M&P9c, and a Ruger Mini 14. I am definitely getting a CZ (or lots of CZs...), too.

I would love to have multiple PPQs. I don't mind identical copies. They are awesome.

What do you mean "Other?!?!?!?"

Of course there are "Others."

"S&W Revolvers" You can own dozens without duplicating caliber, era, finish... and the older ones are truly functioning art.

And they are absolutely addicting.

Steveo452, I started out buying CZ pistols. After 7 pistols, a CZ-452 Ultralux .22lr caught my eye. Then a CZ Style, an American, a Trainer, and a Varmint followed me home. Now, after 3 CZ-550's (.243 Win, .30-06, 6.5X55 Sweede) and a CZ-527 Varmint in .223 my wife is threatening divorce. I can't help myself. I'm a sick, sick puppy.

Yep. Those and pristine 3rd gens are a main reason I troll the pawn shops. "Addicting" is the right word.

My surplus/historical collectionis small right now, (M1, SKS, M-N M44) but I want more.

Why do I have to choose one? :banghead:

I love them all but here lately I'm loving AR's quite a bit, mostly cause that was the latest aquisition and my .17 hmr which was right before the AR. Ammo is relatively cheap for both and I am having too much fun with them. I get the house done and get my hidey hole done god alone knows what will get brought home.

Prolly get another AR just to fancy up a little. Of course I think a flat top AR is about fancy enough. Throw a scope and heavy barrel on it and be done.
