Very nice; haven't seen too many of them around in quite awhile. Only .22 Mag I have these days is an old Ruger Single Six with an extra cylinder that I had fitted to my gun.

Another 650 on the left, and an even rarer gun on the right. Some 650's came with chamber problems...

I'd post a picture but, my 650 looks just like yours with a spare .22 LR cylinder sitting beside it.

This OMM started out life as a .22 LR, but someone converted it it .22 Mag. Because of that I got a great deal on it. It came with the original sight as well as the scope someone mounted on it. I shoot it with the Bushnell 2X scope.

Two questions:

So what is the rarer gun on the right?

And did your M650 come with the Uncle Mike's grips in the picture? I'm trying to figure out if my grips are original, or was the gun shipped with wood service grips that someone changed out at some point.

I believe the most M650 did come with service Magna grips, but S&W may have had an option for the Uncle Mike's back in the 1980's.

You are right, the 650 came with wood Magna grips, which work fine since the .22 mag has all the muzzle blast and noise of a .38 Special, but none of the recoil. The gun on the right is a round butt Model 60 with 3" barrel.
