Insight

Hi all,

The answer is a simple yes on joining the NRA. The principle is (repeatedly made) that the NRA is not all things to all people, but the alternatives to the NRA are not appealing.

So here's the insight. My daughter has worked as an intern for the NRA ILA down on Capitol Hill. She's a good girl, leaning right politically, skilled with weapons, and working hard on her college degree (Go Patriots!). She tells me with glee the attentive angst-filled reaction she got from liberal congressmen's offices when she announced the NRA was calling. She told me those offices were mean-spirited, unhelpful, but never ignoring of the NRA/ILA.

Even the most liberal of the left have respect, even if out of fear, of the NRA. No other 2A advocacy group has this.

The moral of this story is put your money where it will do the most good, and that's the NRA

John
