I’m excited. Been wanting a G3 clone for a long time now. Went and pawned my Kahr T9 Elite yesterday to put half down on the layaway. I like the gun as is but then I started looking at modern upgrades…like the review from that 9 Holes guy. I’m not sure if 800 yards is even possible in average conditions with a claw mounted sight and the best shooter on the planet, but it kinda changed my reasons for wanting this rifle.

I should also probably add that I did have a Cetme a few years ago but it was one of the earlier Century ones that just wasn’t that good. It looked cool though and I’ve missed it ever since. I kinda always looked at it as having a third world knockoff of the real thing. This one though…it’s kinda like actually owning the real thing. Obviously it’s not an HK, but with today’s options, it’s definitely up there. Quality wise, I’m expecting a world of difference. Like a genuinely high quality firearm instead of a novelty like the last one.

Very nice, I changed the original factory bulky stock for the slimline one like yours.

I liked the look better but shot offhand better with the wide factory stock. The flat bottom helped to keep it stable.

I hope it functions good too. They have very good reviews. The guy from that 9 hole reviews channel got this same model to 800 yards. He’s obviously an insanely high level shooter unlike myself. It showed the capability of a PTR clone though. I’m just surprised I got it as cheap as I did. Every bid resets the clock by 24 hours. Usually I gotta go back and forth with someone for two days.

ive had a few of these. Really fun for mag dumps. imo they are the fastest semi 308 you can buy.

KarateHottie93: I bought the classic GI a few months ago. It's my favorite gun.:D

Note that I've never owned a scope, even now at age 66.

Only once did I visit a club (Z) with wide metal gongs at both 300 and 400 yards. I normally hit plastic bottles at 50 yards.:)

Those distant, Large metal targets at Club Z, 300 and 400 yards, looked barely wider than my PTR's front post.

Without a friend's presence with his Barska spotting scope, it would have been Very difficult to see any plate movement that far away. And some of the dull "gong" sounds can't be heard.
