Kansas Shooting Ranges etc.

Hi there!

I will be moving to north eastern Kansas soon. What kind of shooting ranges/public land are available up near the Manhattan/Fort Riley area in specific? Also are there any cool ranges that are worth a trip to farther into the state? Any cool gun shops to check out? I would appreciate if anyone has any input on if the area is nice or not as well because it will be my new home.

There is a indoor range in Ogden, KS right outside the gate to Ft. Riley on the Manhattan side. They rent some full auto's.

Other than that Fancy Creek is probably the nicest range around that area.

I do remember a mom and pop gun store in Ogden just outside the gate.
In fact, that's where I bought my Savage bolt rifle before I retired from the Big Red One.
It was pretty close to the Ogden community center.
But I haven't been there since 2009.
Is this range new or did I just not know about it?

The range is pretty new within the last couple years or so. It seems like there are four gun shops in Ogden now.

In Junction City there is an indoor range called Godfreys that has from what I hear a good reputation. I have been inside the lobby portion of it but never back on the firing line.
