Slightly off topic, but a Sub-2000 in 5.7 makes more sense to me. Cool looking pistol, though.

As RedlegRick mentioned above, a version on the sub-2000 format would be interesting. Put the magazine under the barrel so it can fold with the mag. Might have to adjust the chamber area as the next round would be hanging out in space when folded. The bolt might be a bit lighter also. Maybe an SU16 style design fit better.

Once again ...

Too bad that 5.7x28 ammunition is not easily reloadable or I would be tempted (at, perhaps, half MSRP).

Heck, I even have a couple of the 50rd P90 mags downstairs.<sigh>

I'm guessing the easiest thing for KelTec to do to make the SUB2000 shoot 5.7x28 is simply make it use pistol mags instead of PS90 mags. Either the FN or Ruger type.

Seriously, though- I love this gun. Ive had zero interest in the 5.7 cartridge until now, but........

If they made one in .30 Carbine Id sell my left, uhhh, kidney to get one.

Kudos to Kel-Tec for their willingness to pursue such bold ideas!
Likely not possible without a drastic internal redesign from what I assume is blow back to a locked breech or at least retarded blowback.
