I asked this question on the Kelt Tec forum but I know there are a few RFB owners here so I thought I would post it here also. I am trying to see what I can get out of the RFB accuracy wise.
So what are you guys getting for accuracy out of your RFB's and what are you shooting out of them?
I was at the range working up some loads for mine this afternoon. Last trip I found out mine only likes 168 grain bullets.
This trip I tested some loads with Varget and IMR 4895. Both powders performed well in the same range with Berger VLD 168 grain bullets, CCI primers and an OAL of 2.795". The best groups with both powders was at 43.0 grains giving groups right at 1" at 100 yards. The optic I am using on the rifle is a Leupold VX3 2.5-8x36mm.
