I have a sub2000 glock9 version that I have > 6000 rounds through. Absolutely no problems with the gun other than too many range folks asking how I can shoot 3" circles all day with cheap 9mm handgun ammo at 50 yards.
The other day I was at the indoor range blasting off my 8 33 round mags, and one mag was burst firing. I pulled the trigger 3 times and there were 4 to 6 burst firing going on. thank god it was a range where you could shoot full auto and it was loud, so nobody noticed....but.
this is now unsafe to single shot fire. anyone know what part is worn to create 3-6 round bursts with a single pull of the trigger? as much as i like it, it's not legal and like to have all my hardware tuned properly.
Not that it helps the problem at all, but I had 2 five round bursts that were so fast that they stayed within a 4inch circle even without me expecting it. Gotta love the low recoil of these sub 9mms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course, it had me thinking, select fire sear for a subHuhHuh how cool would that be. i'd easily pay a 200 tax and a few bucks for a sear mod by Kel-Tec for that. It would by far be the coolest ful auto 9mm dumper out there since the crap uzi.
At first I suspected cookoff, since I had just dumped 4 33 round mags within a couple minutes and the barrel was hot, but I have never ever heard of a chamber that could light a 9mm casing in anything.
Funnier thing, when it cooled down, I shot 3 more 33round mags, not a hitch. HuhHuh Hm can you real cook off a 9mm round ( best guess - not on your life). worn parts are cool
