I agree I thought shipping was a little high. What happened to usps flat rate deal? I was going to order 400 bullets and they wanted $14 for shipping. I can get 3000 cast lead bullets delivered for $10

i wrote them an email this morning after they charged me $80 for shipping!
they said flat rate and freight wasn't an option. i have no idea why it isn't.

here's a portion of the text
Dear Mr. <taliv>,

Thank you for your email. Currently we do not offer UPS Freight as a shipping method. UPS Ground is the cheapest method of shipping we currently offer to ship 207lbs of product. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

heh

anyways, i just got my midway eblast email that advertises up to 50% off blemished bullets. i searched on "blemished" again and this morning, it was two pages of results (about 130 matches) and now it's 1 page (about 80 matches)

I ordered a total of 1100 bullets.

.32, .41, & .44 Caliber.

Shipping was &13 and change.

Thanks for the hot tip!

I just snagged a metric bunch for 7mm, 45-70, 44 mag and 30-06 along with a few other reloading items. Shipping was a very reasonable $20. Again thank you for the tip.

Well,
I just had to hit them up one more time. Boy do I have some explaining to do!!!! Since the start of this thread Midway's supply has been decimated! Like was previously mentioned, deals like this don't come around very often.

I spent more than I should have but much less then I wanted.

2000 9mm 124gr (XTPs!)
3000 M43 124gr Spitzers
Would've got some 224 but they were down to ~30gr varmint bullets. Nicey nice! However, shipping was almost $44 dollars (almost 10% of the final cost!)

Oh, and let me be the first to say, in 6 months (heck, 1 month), we'll all be screaming that we should've bought more.

Saw the thread at work, got excited, by the time I got home there was squat left that I could use. Oh well thats how it goes. Bill

2800 bullets later and 22 dollars in shipping. I just ordered from MidwayUSA a week ago. I ordered enough bullets to last another year or two.

WOW you guys are crazy reloading fools huh!!! lol I got on in time to order a couple hundred of 140 grainers for my swede and some for my 30 cal to...next time i will order BIGGER

I picked up 500 of the .30 cal 180's (looked like Hornadys) & 500 of the polymer tipped 7mm's 154 grainers (again looked like Hornadys).

I stocked up on .411" .405 Winchester bullets even though I'm not in the country!

I ordered 1000 124 gr 9mm jhp (look like XTP), 800 180gr .44mag, and 200 of the 168 polymer tip .308, and it was $24 for shipping, they really ought to look into USPS flat rate for bullets. My caster sends me 2200 200 LSWC cast bullets for $9 it used to be $7 thats a 70Lb flast rate box via USPS.

Picked up some 180grn 30 cal what looks like interlocks. Only got 300 and wishing I'd ordered more even though I've got a pretty good supply already. Thanks for the tip. About $10 for shipping with a set of scope rings thrown in.

2000 of the Hornady 115gr 6.8SPC HPBT for just over $250 shipped to my door. These things have been unavailable for months, and they are great bullets.

O' happy day... :)

Yup. The selection is pretty weak now. I started an order on 200 bullets of a weight I didn't really need along with a can of Kroil to make it $25 and they wanted over $12 shipping so I backed out. Someone can PM just me next time this comes around.:D

DAM, no 38/357 bullets and only 180gr 30-06 but nothing in a BT round. The 9mm aren't that bad but I like 124gr better than 147gr. I guess I saw this thread too late.

How often does midway do this?

I put in a huge order as well, only to get an e-mail that the blemished bullets were out of stock. Dang!

Good find, though. I'll have to check now and then to see if they have any more in.

How often does midway do this?

first time i've ever seen them do it, although as was previously mentioned, others have had blem sales before

I go an email that my little order of 1100 bullets has shipped. Be here tomorrow. :D

I started ordering at work but cannot decide (and it was quitting time), how much of the .45 250 grainers I wanted so I said, I'll order when I get home. Biggest mistake of the day! When I got home (a span of about 15 minutes drive from work) I jumped on the computer with broadband connections and when to the blemished section of MidwayUSA.

I was able to order 300 .32 and 500 9mm, the .45 250 gr were GONE!

Oh well, hindsight....50/50 (hey I'm older now).

I picked up 500 41 cal JHP's. Had I had more money available I'd have probably gotten 1000. I can hardly wait to load em up for the 657 I won at the IRC this year. :) Brass is primed and just waiting for bullets... woo hoo!

I bet they're happy to have that bunch of bays in the warehouse cleared. Jeeze that was a nice set of prices. I'm already wishing I had been dumb and ordered more than just a thousand or so.

I would have bout the 147gr 9mm bullets but they weren't cheap enough to make me order 147gr when I like to shoot 124gr bullets. The sale was $6.99/100 which works out to $34.95. I can get 124gr Winchester FMJ bullets for $42.49/500. Don't get me wrong, saving $7.50 on 500 bullets isn't bad but they weren't the weight I wanted.
