Kimber striker fired pistol

I had looked at these I think they are an interesting alternative to some of the small 9mm 1911 style guns, but I have a 938 that I almost never carry because it is too big for pocket carry and a little small for IWB. To me these pistols are better in 380 where they are actually pocket carry size. The price is a little surprising too. More than I would pay

Looks like it's drop safety is too thick. It better have a decent stop built in, so that it sits flush in the trigger. If it sinks in, like a Zevtech Glock trigger, then that's a big problem.

3 dot night sights on the TLE? Le sigh. Do these folks even shoot?

Depends how big your pockets are. I pocket carry an LC9s which looks to be about the same size. The price is where they lost me. I was expecting it to be a little cheaper than a micro 9, not more!

I came to the same conclusion you did, price was very high on a striker pistol.

I'd rather buy a Shield and pocket the extra $500. It's not as pretty but this kind of gun is really more of a tool and how it looks doesn't mean much. Or it doesn't to me, anyway.

I'm a big guy, but I pocket carry a P938, no issues. My pants are "relaxed fit" and I wear alot of cargo shorts, so that helps. I prefer the size of a 380 in the pocket, but the 9mm ballistics win out for me.

Nice Kimber, same capacity as P938, and pricier. I pass. I'll go for the P365 in its stead.

looks nice but i think i have enough striker guns. anymore they all sort of feel the same to me. if i was in the market for a poly gun it would be in the running.

I think it has light alloy frame that is why it doesn't cost $500 or less.

I think this one is a bit bigger.
A little bigger, yes. Barrel length for Solo was 2.67", Evo has 3.16". Also, it comes with extended baseplate standard, as I understand. Although, maybe it takes Solo's flat-bottom magazines? The grip looks identical.

Lets see, compared to my Sig 365 the new Kimber would offer me more weight, wider frame, longer OAL, and about the same height, but would lose a lot of capacity and cost dang near twice as much.

That’s gonna be a hard pass on my end. It is a pretty looking gun though.
