This weekend up in Ft Pierce FL, there was probablly the best show I have been to in years. The only thing that bothered me was that almost all the Kimbers being sold. "which is rare to see so many Kimbers at a gun show in the first place", had plain black post front sights. Other than 2 or 3 with night sites, like an SIS or one of the Concealed carry models. I found that to be strange. It appears that after spending $1200 on a pistol, you have to put a front sight on it. Unless you like a black post with nothing. I spoke to a few guys who had bought Kimbers before, "who were also browsing the herd", and they were all as perplexed as I. Is this their new policy? Even the trl and eclipse had no dot no nothing, lust a post. Is that a given now, that you are going to change your sights anyway so why give you any?
