Just a couple of questions, probably over the next few days.
Some quick background, I've collected several knives over the years from various garage sales and flea markets. They've all just ended up in a box in the closet, and I just pulled out the box today.
There are a lot, some I know about, others I'm going to post up here.
Puma Hunter's-The blade has a good edge on it and a kind of ridged back. Has usage marks on it, some scratches and whatnot. On the side of the knife it has "Puma Hunters--Genuine Pumaster Steel--Germany 6397" It also has a nifty leather sheath that says "PUMA" and has a puma head above it. The back of the belt loop says "Made in Germany" DBGM 78658
Next up is an Old Timer. Shrade 1250T. It's in good shape, looks to be a service award knife. Has Jeld Wen on the blade, but it's faded out. Has a leather sheath similar to a Buck110 sheath. Folds over the top and says "Shrade" on the flap. I looked on ebay and the 1250t is going anywhere between 10 and 70 bucks.
Another one is a bone handled, thick steel knife. Rusty, with a lot of usage marks on it. All it says is "Germany" on it. I've got another one similar to this that says "Solingen"(sp) Overall length is abouth 12".
I've got another one that looks like a Bowie knife. Big darn knife. Extremely sharp, with a polished edge. No machine marks on it at all. No brand on it. It has some rust marks that have been polished, but stained the chrome. No pitting. It looks handmade.
I'll dig up some more that I'm curious about shortly.
Any ideas on what these are worth would be great, because I'm planning on selling them. I was going to keep the bowie and use it, but the more I think about it, I don't want to ugly it up.
