12/5/23 I ordered 1000 230 gr copper plated 45 ACP RN bullets from Berrys. I got the confirmation and thank you email that day. (Tuesday.)

No estimate of delivery date. "OK", says I. Backlogged? Supply chain issues? Copper shortage? I decided it might be a long wait.

I got back to the house today and there was a traumatized USPS flat rate shipping box on the porch. A bomb? Nope. The bullets. They got it here in two days. That's pretty good.

Kudos to Berry's bullets.

I shot USPSA matches with Montana Gold jacketed bullets and practiced with Berry's plated bullets ... 30 years ago in the 90s ... Ah, happy memories ... Wow, time flies when you are having fun (Must've been the 29 years of marriage to my "happy" wife.:rofl:)

Shipping box probably endured post Black Friday transport ordeal and postman likely did a "combat delivery" 😁

Nice little surprise, good on you and Berrys!

My last experience with a thrashed box o’ bullets was an order i made to ACME. The cardboard shipping box was ripped apart and two of the four wooden boxes were smashed. The remaining contents were delivered in one of those corrugated plastic post office bins, and after counting I was short about 20 .45/70 450 gr bullets.

ACME sent a replacement box full of bullets even though I just asked for the 20 to be replaced. :D

Have fun loading and shooting!!

Stay safe.

I like Berry’s a lot too. I’ve used them for 9mm, 9 Mak, .40 and .45 and have always had good results. Just ordered a box of blemished 55 gr. 223 bullets but have yet to try them, I’m sure they’ll be good to go too. Cost half what the fmj Hornadys I’ve been using cost. The blem is that the canalures aren’t consistent size. I don’t crimp them anyway, so OK with me.

Berry is the best. I ordered 1000 38 cal bullets and when the box got here was 5 left in the broken box. I called berry and they sent me another 1000 no questions asked. They are great. All they wanted was a picture of the box.

I love Berry's, but they really do need to double box these things when they don't have an inner plastic case.

I've opened my mailbox to find loose bullets spilling out of the corners of the box in the past.

They must have heard you. My order was 2 boxes of 500 bullets. Literally, there were two boxes. They were inside another box which held the two boxes of 500. All the above were inside the USPS flat rate shipping box. The USPS box looked like someone's unwanted stepchild but everything inside was fine.

I used to use Hornady XTP's and have been happy with them but they got a bit pricey for just target shooting so I decided to try Berry's Bullets and I must say I'm impressed with them.
Hornady XTP's are still my defense Bullets .

I can't speak to Berrys customer service, but their DEWC projectiles for 38 Special have been a winner for me. Now I can quit using my 357 cases for light target loads. Their 147 grain 9mm bullets also work pretty well from my Shield.

I've ordered a lot of bullets from Rocky Mt Reloading and Precision Delta over the years. Never had an overly ugly, leaking contents delivery yet. I do try to take it easy on the post office by only ordering 3k at a time. If I'd order 10k at a time, it would come in two boxes, one at the max allowable postal weight, like 70lbs. That's a LOT for most folks to lift. So now I order 3k, wait a couple days, order 3k more, until I got what I needed. Free shipping, so no penalty for doing it that way.

I used to use a lot of Berry's bullets from BassPro. Good bullets.
