I recently picked up an LCP II. I have some other Cerakote projects in the works so I figured I might as well refinish the grip frame and barrel of my LCP.
However, I'm having a heck of a time getting the two pins out that retain the rail insert in the grip frame. I've watched videos for the original LCP and it appears that the pins were originally polymer (and fairly easy to remove), but the LCP II has steel pins. Is there a chance these pins are no longer designed to be removed (press fit)? Any advice?
