Lee Turret Auto Index HELP

Hi All,

Am thinking of buying another 3 hole Lee Turret Press but they don't offer the auto index kit anymore.

I think the latest 3 hole turret has the new priming system on it so I wanted to get one and set it up auto index.

Was hoping someone may know where to get the rod, cam and clamp for auto Index

Maybe one of you has did the 4 hole conversion and want to sell the old 3 hole parts?

I would check with Lee Precision. I cannot imagine they do not sell the parts. Get the straight information from "the horse's mouth".

I checked the web site and see they do not list the 1/3 twist indexing rod, but they may have some "in the back room" somewhere. I would talk to a live person before I gave up on the idea.

Maybe if enough people ask, they might make a 3-station version of their Classic Turret and we could get the best of both worlds.

If you can't get the parts, take heart. Cycling the fourth movement is not all that time-consuming. You don't have to do the entire stroke. Just MAKE SURE you stroke FULLY over the twisted part of the index rod and you will be fine.

Breakage of the square ratchet generally comes from reversing direction too soon or turning the turret by hand while the ratchet is engaged with the notches.
