I am cleaning and lubing an old Lefever "Nitro Special" 12 ga. for a client. The detail strip was no problem, but the re-insertion of the hammer springs is going to be, at best, interesting. Any of you guys ever do it? What did you use? Are there any special tools to compress these coil springs?
