you carry that bad boy!!!! that’s firepower right there!I have one, they're cool guns. Carried it hunting for a few years.
I’m making a display wall in my secured reloading room. no more safe troll gunsThe few folks I know that own LeMats have fired them at the range several times, cleaned them, then relegated them to the back of the safe. Like many Walker owners.

I have security plans! modern tech and old fashioned locks! In a way, I miss the days before gun-safes, and I had all my rifles on the wall. I could contemplate them all, or walk over and take one down and admire it. On the other hand, I'm sure there are more than a few people who got robbed, and wish they had a safe back in the day.
Open Carry a LeMat ! now that would be something to see!I think that Mike B./Duelist Den did a good video on one. They do have some quirks or small issues. ? Maybe not. I believe there were a couple of different models of the LeMat, that operate slightly differently, but I don't know which model the Italians replicate. Anyhow, watch that video and get an idea of what they are like and what to expect.
I'd love to run into someone packing a LeMat while hunting, that would really make my day. I don't run into other hunters often, but when I do it's in-line rifles and glocks on the hip.
I’ll get them all eventually! cheaper than high end STi’s and USPSA guns! lolI have heard the hammer is a real bear to pull back on those things, never seen one in person or held one. My Walkers do get shot several times a year and fondled and caressed quite a bit. They are among my favorites.
I miss living in the South. Seattle will make you lose your mind.Common with them Tennessee boys I believe.
that’s what I’m talking about! Just a common pistol on the hip, delivering food! makes all the sense in the WORLD.People complain about the weight of them but I think they carry and handle quite nicely. They're a little quirky to load.
Our food delivery guy tonight had a pistol on his hip, wearing a Sons of Anarchy jacket. It was interestin'.......
that gun looks complicated! but it’s so dang pretty! They made 3 replica models, Army, Navy and Calvery. The difference was the hammer and how it activated the shot barrel and the way the barrel was retained. The Army and Navy model did not have the trigger guard spur. I have an Army model; the ergonomics are not very good, and it feels awkward when cocking. It is a stunning pistol to look at. It is a lot more complicated internally than a Colt with many flat springs.
Yes they would! If he did that in Seattle, people would lose their pronouns.
I was a Uber driver in Seattle for 3 years, before having children, I carried everyday and didn’t care about Uber policy. Heck, it was my car and my life. The crazy things I seen.Yes they would!
I started to ask him if he had encountered situations that necessitated it but decided not to. All I can say is that I wish they had allowed us to open carry when I was in the field. Though our HR department did openly suggest concealed carry.
I don't blame you! I was threatened more times in the suburbs and trashy trailer parks than in "da hood". It's a jungle out there!I was a Uber driver in Seattle for 3 years, before having children, I carried everyday and didn’t care about Uber policy. Heck, it was my car and my life. LaMat conversation! 45 Colt and 20g, that would be one heck of a defensive gun!
$1525…, dang, Peitta need to make another run and get some more in here. I’ll wait it out, it’s still one of there production gunsA LeMat was sold on GB yesterday for $1525.
I like the trigger guard ! nice flare, what we’re those hook used for, all the old Russian guns had themGood Morning!
I'm always happy to see a new LeMat thread! No kidding! If you want strong hands, practice cocking and de-cocking that revolver one handed every day. I've had the Cavalry model for many years now. It is still my favorite for fun and if you have the right belt and and a good holster, not too terrible to hike with. I have a similar type of holster to the one that you see in CraigC's post up above. I carry the revolver cross draw for right hand up front on a wide belt of it's own. Keeps the weight on the hips and doesn't pull your trousers down *chuckles* If you get one, check out Mike B's YouTube videos for ease of loading the shotgun barrel and go have fun making smoke with it. It is a handsome and powerful piece of iron at any range or meet.
regards!
