Let's see photos of your GUN SAFE

Rangegod: daaaang! How many of those are shooters, and how many are just safe queens (princesses? Duchesses? Earl..ettes?!)?

To the lot of you posting on a pic thread for the sole purpose on pissing on everybody else's parade: welcome to my Ignore list.

Let me see your safe?

Sean, and others - the same thought zipped through my mind - congratulations - don't show them nothing. See my gunsafe? While YOU probably have minimal profile info online, remember, what you post is accessable by ANYONE! Don't kid yourself, crooks can and WILL take advantage of information you supply innocently. Let's be REALLY careful out there (with what you post on the Internet). Not trying to make an example here of Sean, or anyone, just saying Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

I'm game. You asked for Liberty safes and I think I've got the prettiest one out there. I just need to get more guns to fill it.

No kidding, with that burgundy finish, it looks great right in my living room.
(That's a good thing, because I don't have a garage)

Anyone who wants to try to take it because I posted a picture on the forum....you'd better bring your "A" game.

I was actually kidding in the first post... sort of a tongue-in-cheek salute to all the combat-parking tactical paranoia going around. The best/saddest part is that there WERE some people who were serious about pictures being a security breach.

I have a 2 shelf stack-on safe that was like 90 dollars, not even worth posting, you could just pick it up and walk away with it, so have at it.

Some people are so over-protective/eliteists to not post a pic or discuss safes, yet they post to decline comment... cracks me up. Stay in your hole where it safe! :neener:

I was actually kidding in the first post...

Man is it a good thing that I am so neurotic and curious. I was so worried about what it might say under the "So and So is on your blah blah blah list" that I unchecked it just to make sure it wasn't something I might have to get into an internet pissing contest with somebody about :D

But yeah, all that being-a-bastard-for-the-sake-of-being-a-bastard stuff drives me up the damnable wall. I mean seriously, if somebody doesn't like the content of a thread, they should bite their tongue and move on (alternative: stay and bite the curb) instead of subjecting all the people with legitimate things to say to their inane BS.

...
Hypocrite of the week, apparently.

Maybe I should comment on the contents of my safe. It is not empty because I worry about showing my guns online. It is empty because that picture was taken right after I installed it.

I've tried taking pictures with the guns inside but they don't turn out to be very photogenic.

LMAO. The meer fact that we post on these boards shows that the membership here owns firearms, posting a picture of your safe is not going to encourage someone further than previous posts already have. Odds are that all of us have mentioned at one time or another what guns we own. If someone wants to target the membership on this board, they already have all the information they need.

Anyway, those are beautiful collections.

One of the pictures shows some rifle bolts that I store to disable rifles that won't fit in the safe. Kinda bugs me that a POS single bbl shotgun sits in the safe while a decent bolt-gun is outside, but whattaygonnado?

BTW, as you can tell, my photography skillz suck.

I do some WW2 displays and the "balloons" are used then. The BB's are for my youngest sons Daisey. He insisted that his "ammo" be in the safe along with his rifle!

I always have to laugh when I see Gixerman1000's real-life scene from the Matrix (when they go "we're going to need some guns" and suddenly the endless racks of firearms appear out of nowhere). :D

Jeez!

Leave it to Gixxerman to come along and rain on everyones parade! :D

I am reluctant to post my pics after seeing some of the other folks collections. I feel kind of inadequate, haha! But here is my Champion Sport.

As others have already said buy the BIGGEST safe you can afford. Little did I know when I bought this safe it was too small before it even came home. I am getting ready to buy another. Something else to think about is actually getting it home and in your house! At about 525 pounds the safe pictured here is definitely a lightweight among gun safes, and yet for my friend and I getting it down into my basement was exceptionally difficult, if not outright dangerous. Anything bigger would have required movers, and quite possibly riggers, to get it in place. So potentially factor in moving costs to your purchase price. And for those who are going to chide me for putting a gun safe in a damp basement I have a dehumidifier running down there right next to the safe.

No, I was not drunk when I put the firearms in the safe. Due to magazines, and bent bolts, and straight bolts, and pistol grips, and scopes, etc.... the rifles have to be in all kinds of funny positions to all fit in the safe. Keep in mind this is just the stuff I would really miss if it got stolen. There is more hidden around the house. Did I mention that you should really get a BIG safe?

Wow, I thought holster mounted to the door was good, then I see Gixer's pegs.

How do you get these down into the basement, if they're down there? I've got a standard door way, and wooden steps. Running my calculations, I can only get a medium sized safe down through the doorway. My new plan is to just build a room for my toys, otherwise I'd need a few medium safes, and a new back.

I think Exposure might have the biggest gun in his photo. Nice muzzle brake.

Does anyone remember who posted photos of his super-basement a few months ago? The fellow's entire basement was one big safe, filled with guns and military equipment, floor to ceiling. Looked like Burt's rec room from "Tremors." I think he said he moved away or remodeled after the photos were taken.
