I have little interest in putting in power tools that make dust. I will probably remove it eventually as the room develops. That's some mongo dust collection system you have there.
Solar pool heating mat rolled up?
Bogie's Bunker has a 92" 16x9 DVD resolution projection screen, 7.1 surround, four 15" subwoofers, and 6,000 watts, and a kegerator. The loading stuff is in the Bad Teenager room.
And now has been half taken over (the rear half...) by a bunch of large format printers.
Thanks for all the pics....I like the idea of a bench (or island) in the center of the room. Conventional wisdom generally puts benches around the perimeter of a room.
"Fortress of Solitude".....sounds better than man cave.
I generally call my man cave "the little room in the basement where I hide from the world." I've never given it a better name, but someday maybe I'll come up with one. It's very small... three walls are made up of shelves with sliding glass doors to keep all the stuff I've collected in. (antique cameras, old flashlights, and various other accumulations. There's a little desk-workbench on the other wall, and every spot is covered with memorabilia and important-to-me junk. The old wind up clock never gets set to daylight savings time. I have a few guns in there, but my reloading bench is just outside the door next to my pinball machine, and the gunsafe is up against a nearby wall. It's taken more than 30 years of living here to reach just the right state or orderly clutteredness.
