Leupold VX3HD VS VX5HD

Does anyone know the difference in the Leopold VX3HD and the VX5HD scopes? From what I can tell look though them, the glass seems to be the same. Crisp, clear from edge to edge.

From looking at them side by side in a Cabelas, I can say that you don't notice much of a difference unless you're looking through them in low light. I looked through both of them while pointed at a dimly lit display, and that's where I saw the difference.
