Lightweight AR barrel?

Want the old CAR-1 light barrel with 55.6 chrome lined chamber, 1-7 or 1-9 and (please G-d) M-4 feed ramps. In this world where every body makes everything does somebody make this? I am trying to build up a light AR and don't want or need the M203 govt profile. My 20" Sp-1 weighs the same as a 14.5 M-4! Help direct me .

I got a 1/7 lightweight barrel form CMMG. I got the 20", but they make all lengths.

It's a very nice barrel and shoots good too: I can get 1.5MOA out of it with stock handguards. BSW

+1 for CMMG. I've got a 16" middy lightweight barrel from them, and it's truly light as a feather.

I recently purchased a Del-Ton upper assembly with a 16" light weight barrel and I am very pleased, I mounted it on a DPMS lower with a CAR style stock and the whole package with a loaded 20 Round mag and a holo sight is just shy of seven pounds and it shoots 1.5" groups off the bag at 100 yards.

Don't pull it if you don't plan to use it, and don't use it if you don't plan to kill!
